A tribute
Gloria Babcock and I collaborated for over 30 years. She was known as Miss Glo or Tallulah or Mama. She was one of the bravest most beautiful souls I’ve ever known. These images are from our last photo shoot deep in the mountains of North Carolina. I cant recall the story we were trying to tell. Like a beautiful dream you desperately try to remember even as it slips away moments after you wake up. You can still smell it on your pillow and feel its powdery wings flapping away inside your skull, getting softer and softer and softer.
