I met Jane Thompson in the early 90’s in New Orleans. We became fast friends bonding over books, music, our love of a good time and the fact that we both grew up in Florida. She was one of my most beloved soul mates. In the last year of her life she spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals. We started collaborating on these images as a way of passing the time and having some fun in the midst of a difficult situation. In the end it became a way for me to be present, pay respect and process the loss of a beloved friend.
